Illinois Craft Beer Week (ICBW) is the most anticipated celebration of craft beer and craft breweries across Illinois. Taking over the state May 10-17th, ICBW features hundreds of events, tap takeovers and drink specials in breweries, bars, and restaurants from Chicago to Downstate.
It’s an exciting time for the Illinois craft beer industry! In 2018, Chicago became the nation’s craft brewery capital, and all across Illinois our breweries are driving economic development, creating jobs, and becoming anchors in the communities and neighborhoods they call home.
ICBW is all about celebrating those who brew Illinois beer, drink Illinois beer, and support Illinois beer. Start planning your #ICBW activities when the official event lineup goes live in April!
Beer Under Glass (BUG), the signature fundraising event to kick off Illinois Craft Beer Week, takes place Friday, May 10th at the Garfield Park Conservatory. This nature-infused craft beer festival invites guests to sample craft beer from more than 100 breweries in one of the world’s largest and most stunning plant conservatories. Proceeds support the Garfield Park Conservatory Alliance and Illinois Craft Brewers Guild.
General admission tickets to Beer Under Glass go on sale March 15
