WHAT IS THE
ILLINOIS CRAFT BREWERS GUILD?

OUR MISSION
The Illinois Craft Brewers Guild is the nonprofit trade organization dedicated to supporting the development and expansion of the craft beer industry in Illinois. Founded in 1997, ICBG focuses its efforts on three primary areas:

LEGISLATIVE + REGULATORY ADVOCACY
As the voice of Illinois brewers, the Guild advocates for legislation that enables growth and expansion while working to ease unnecessary regulatory restrictions on the state's craft breweries. 

EDUCATION
The Guild provides opportunities for its members to enhance their brewing knowledge through ongoing technical seminars and conferences and educates consumers about the local craft beer industry, Illinois breweries, and how to experience Illinois beer responsibly.

PROMOTION
​From world-renowned festivals to neighborhood tastings, the Guild takes an active role in promoting its member breweries and their craft beer in thoughtful, creative ways to maintain connection with loyal fans while appealing to new craft beer drinkers.
