The Illinois Craft Brewers Guild is the nonprofit trade association that represents Illinois craft breweries. Since 1997, the Guild has been a voice for Illinois brewers, supporting member and consumer education, advocating for the modernization of craft beer laws,
​and promoting the craft beer brewed with pride across Illinois.

Illinois Craft Beer Week returns May 9-16 to kick off summer and celebrate our Illinois craft beer community: those who brew Illinois beer, drink Illinois beer, and support Illinois beer!

A Night Under the Skyline

This year, Beer Under Glass returns kick off Illinois Craft Beer Week.

On Friday May 9, join the largest gathering of Illinois breweries for our signature festival and fundraiser, hosted under the towering glass of Chicago’s iconic skyline, on the rooftop at the acclaimed Millennium Park Harris Theater Rooftop Terrace in the heart of Downtown Chicago.

General admission and VIP tickets go on sale Friday, March 21.

For more than 20 years, the Festival of Wood & Barrel-Aged Beer has convened the nation's top barrel-aged brewing programs and craft beer's biggest enthusiasts for the largest showcase of its kind. The Illinois Craft Brewers Guild is proud to announce the launch of our first-ever Job Board, a centralized location for posting, finding, and applying for jobs across the state's craft beer industry.

Brewery and associate members are encouraged to post open positions on the job board. And job seekers, we want to help you find awesome opportunities to help jumpstart your career in #IllinoisBeer!

Illinois liquor laws were penned in the 1930s, long before the advent of the craft breweries they now govern. We're working closely with policymakers to help modernize laws so our brewery members can better compete in today's economy.

ILLINOIS CRAFT BREWERS GUILD?

OUR MISSION
The Illinois Craft Brewers Guild is the nonprofit trade organization dedicated to supporting the development and expansion of the craft beer industry in Illinois. Founded in 1997, ICBG focuses its efforts on three primary areas:

LEGISLATIVE + REGULATORY ADVOCACY
As the voice of Illinois brewers, the Guild advocates for legislation that enables growth and expansion while working to ease unnecessary regulatory restrictions on the state's craft breweries. 

EDUCATION
The Guild provides opportunities for its members to enhance their brewing knowledge through ongoing technical seminars and conferences and educates consumers about the local craft beer industry, Illinois breweries, and how to experience Illinois beer responsibly.

PROMOTION
​From world-renowned festivals to neighborhood tastings, the Guild takes an active role in promoting its member breweries and their craft beer in thoughtful, creative ways to maintain connection with loyal fans while appealing to new craft beer drinkers.
