Beer Under Glass, the signature festival and fundraiser that kicks off Illinois Craft Beer Week, returns Friday May 13! And this year, we’re taking BUG to new heights – literally – with a new twist on the classic event.
This one-of-a-kind evening of craft beer pairs samples from more than 110 Illinois craft breweries with the history and architectural marvel of the iconic venue. Guests will go on a statewide exploration, mingling with brewers from their favorite craft beer spots as they sample timeless favorites and discover new treasures. |

Why isn’t Beer Under Glass at Garfield Park Conservatory?
Garfield Park Conservatory is undergoing an exciting transformation and renovation, with construction ongoing through the spring and summer. These activities would have severely limited the number of breweries and guests we could accommodate at Beer Under Glass. Because this event is a celebration of our statewide membership and the incredible beer brewed in Illinois, we determined that a larger venue with greater capacity was vital.

How much are tickets to Beer Under Glass?
General admission tickets are $50. VIP tickets, which include one-hour early entry, are $60. Current ImBIBE members will receive a complimentary upgrade to VIP early entry with their general admission ticket purchase. Food is not included in the price of either general admission or VIP tickets.
If I’m an ImBIBE member, how can I get my VIP ticket upgrade?
All current ImBIBE members will receive an email with a special code to be used when purchasing tickets to Beer Under Glass that. ImBIBE members should select the “ImBIBE VIP Ticket” option and input their code for a VIP ticket at general admission pricing. ImBIBE members may not share the code with non-members. Non-members who attempt to purchase ImBIBE tickets will receive a refund and will only be granted entry with a general admission for full-price VIP ticket. The Illinois Craft Brewers Guild is accepting new ImBIBE members. Anyone who joins ImBIBE will receive a ticket code for a VIP upgrade within 48 hours.

No, all tickets to Beer Under Glass include samples from participating breweries. As an alternative, attendees are encouraged to use public transportation or ride share services to travel to and from the event.
Are tickets to Beer Under Glass transferrable?
General admission tickets to Beer Under Glass are transferable to individuals 21 years of age and older with a valid ID. The name on the general admission ticket does not need to match the name on the ID. ImBIBE tickets are not transferable; all ImBIBE ticketholders will be required to show a valid ID that matches the name on their ticket. All ticketholders must be 21 years of age or older.
Are Beer Under Glass tickets refundable?
All ticket sales are final. If you are unable to make the event but have purchased a ticket, we encourage you to share your ticket with someone who is 21 years of age or older.

Chicago Union Station is one of the most accessible venues in the state of Illinois. Guests from outside of Chicago may utilize Amtrak, Metra or Pace, while local attendees can reach the venue by CTA, ride share, vehicle, or on foot. The CTA Blue Line (Clinton Street) and Buses 7, 60, 124, 125, 126, 151, 156 and 157 all serve Chicago Union Station. Parking is extremely limited, and guests are encouraged to avoid driving and/or parking.

Hosting Beer Under Glass at Chicago Union Station enables us to increase capacity, both for attendees as well as participating brewers. More than 110 participating breweries will guide attendees on a statewide exploration of Illinois craft beer in a safe, socially distanced venue.
Will there be food at Beer Under Glass?
Food for purchase from the kitchens of several participating breweries will be available throughout the venue. Please check back for updates on specific food options and price points.
Will merchandise be available at Beer Under Glass?
Yes! An assortment of “Drink Illinois” gear will be available for purchase, including a limited edition 16-ounce pint glass designed especially for Illinois craft beer fans, with proceeds supporting the Illinois Craft Brewers Guild.
Can I check my bags or coat on-site?
No, there will be no on-site coat or bag check at Beer Under Glass, so please pack light.
Can I bring a backpack or other personal item to Beer Under Glass?
In an effort to create a spacious and inviting environment, large backpacks, briefcases, and other large bags are strongly discouraged inside the festival. Small bags are recommended.
Can I bring my own food and beverages to Beer Under Glass?

The health and safety of our brewers, staff, volunteers, and guests is our top priority. Beer Under Glass will adhere to all local public health guidelines at the time of the event. Brewery participants will be adequately spaced throughout the venue, and there will be ample space to allow for social distancing. At this time, masks will be optional for all participants.
