The most anticipated week for Illinois craft beer fans returns May 19-26, 2023 with a dynamic lineup of festivals and events to excite and engage members of our Illinois craft beer community! 
This year, we’re focusing our celebration on the enduring impact craft breweries have on our communities and neighborhoods, with unique opportunities each day for our members, partners, fans, and followers to experience and support #IllinoisBeer.

FRIDAY, MAY 19 | #DRINKILLINOIS SUMMER PASSPORT
Are you sitting down? This year, we’re bringing back the Summer Passport, a physical booklet to document your summer of craft beer adventures. Quantities will be limited, so the race is on to visit your local brewery and secure your Summer Passport. Find more info here

SATURDAY, MAY 20 | A DAY OF GIVING @ WILL COUNTY BEER & BOURBON FESTIVAL
There’s nothing better than when good beer creates big impact. This year, the Illinois Craft Brewers Guild is supporting the Will County Habitat for Humanity’s annual Will County Beer and Bourbon Fest. Enjoy pours from breweries across Illinois and beyond as well as locally produced bourbon. All proceeds will support local Veteran Build programs.

SUNDAY, MAY 21 | SMALL BREWERY SUNDAY
In what is now an annual tradition, Small Brewery Sunday encourages Illinois craft beer lovers to make a special beer run to their local brewery or retail shop and stock up their beer fridge (we know you have one!). Every beer run, bottle shop visit, and taproom pick-up order supports jobs and economic growth in our neighborhoods! ​​

MONDAY, MAY 22 | 'PINT DAY' FUNDRAISER
You know what makes Mondays better? Buying the beer, keeping the glass, AND supporting the industry…all at once! Beginning on Pint Day, visit participating breweries to purchase our limited-edition 16-ounce pint glasses designed especially for Illinois craft beer drinkers. A portion of every sale supports the Illinois Craft Brewers Guild’s mission of education, promotion, and advocacy.

TUESDAY, MAY 23 | IMBIBE FEATURE
On Tuesday, we’re celebrating our biggest fans, the members of our enthusiast program, ImBIBE. With special shout-outs and spotlights, we’ll show everyone how ImBIBE delivers the best value for Illinois craft beer fans through exclusive access to presale tickets, discounts, member-only events, branded gear, and more! 

WEDNESDAY, MAY 24 | (HUMP DAY) PATIO PARTIES
There’s no better boost to get you over the mid-week hump than a visit to a taproom patio. On Wednesday, we’ll be spotlighting our favorite brewery patios, and sharing your photos when you tag @ilcraftbeer on Instagram!

THURSDAY, MAY 25 | DAY OF ACTION
At its core, Illinois Craft Beer Week is a reminder of our duty to advocate in support of our industry. This year, we’re pushing to modernize Illinois liquor laws from the 1930s that make it harder for today’s breweries to open, operate, and grow. On Thursday, we’ll mobilize our craft community, becoming one voice as we advocate for our future through direct contacts with members of the Illinois General Assembly and through a high-impact social media campaign.

FRIDAY, MAY 26 | BEER UNDER GLASS
This year, Illinois Craft Beer Week closes with our signature festival, Beer Under Glass. Once again, we’ll be pouring craft beer from 120+ Illinois breweries where the City of Chicago meets the State of Illinois: under the glass at Chicago Union Station’s Great Hall.
