ILLINOIS CRAFT BEER WEEK
​KICKS OFF MAY 14-21

This year, Illinois Craft Beer Week is dedicated to the people who kept the Illinois beer flowing over the last 14 months. Our hats are off to the staff, owners and operators of Illinois breweries and taprooms who masked up every day, put on a smile, and served customers with patience and resilience while the pandemic altered nearly every aspect of their jobs. 

ICBW is our chance to say THANK YOU. ​

​Due to continued restrictions, the Illinois Craft Brewers Guild will not be hosting any in-person events during ICBW. But we are planning a week of action to honor the Illinois brewing community and spur recovery in our breweries and taprooms. Here’s how:

A SHOT + A BEER
Got vaccinated? Thank you! You are helping our industry move closer to being fully reopened while avoiding further restrictions. During ICBW, snap a photo of your vaccination record with an Illinois beer and post to social with #ShotAndBeerIL and you’ll be automatically entered to win a ticket to our next event!

SMALL BREWERY SUNDAY
A challenge to skip the beer section at the grocery store, instead making a run to a small brewery.  This Sunday (and every Sunday), be sure to get out there and support local with a taproom/patio visit or to-go order!

SUPPORT THE BEER ACT
Our breweries are fighting for a bill in Springfield that would make craft beer delivery permanent and enable breweries to ship directly to consumers. Illinois lawmakers need to hear from you! Take one minute to send an email! 

PASSPORT PLUS
We’re taking our Summer Passport to a new level with PassportPlus. And even though we’re not trekking across the state, we’re still rewarding craft beer drinkers for choosing Illinois-brewed beer. More Info
